I was just playing the second level (can't remember the name) with the most current L4D and the campaign that was just released v1.1.
After the helicopter crashed, I ran to the corner near it and got stuck in midair, I could not move. I tried all the keys, I got incapped and the bots picked me up and I was still stuck, then they got stuck too.

Same here.
I just replayed the map to confirm it is not a one-time glitch.
you "fall" forever. you get unstuck eventually when you manage to "drift" out of the model-area, but during the Creshendo-Event(sp?) this takes longer than your primary ammo lasts.

We got stuck too and I think our fellow bot found other place to get yourself stuck (in 4th map, cant describe the place after only one playtrough but I could take a screenshot if needed). However, our bot was only one to get stuck in that spot and it's very unlikely that normal human players would get stuck to that spot in 4th map.

Good news is that you might be able to wiggle yourself off. Seems turning around a lot or zig zagging with the mouse while holding forward may get you off the debris. Aim for what may be the shortest direction off the debris of course. You might also have to get hit by a zombie or stumbled somehow if you're especially stuck.

Same bug here.

I too got stuck on the debris once so far, thankfully it was only on my third play through of the campaign, but now I know just to avoid it. other than that I have not experienced any other bugs

Yep, got that bug also.

Same bug, stuck in helicopter debris. Screenshots available, but no time to put them on imageshack now.
Oh, and I shouldn't forget to mention you guys did an awesome job.
You guys did an awesome job

I know you people out there (specifically the makers of this campaign) know how to fix this problem, if you don't you can just simply put playerclip around and over the debris so no one can enter the 'you get stuck' area of it.
P.S - awesome campaign =3

I managed to wiggle out after several minutes of trying on my first time playing..
then crashed with the wonderful out of memory error.

Really? Can't just put out a small bug fix?! This is a show stopping bug.
As minor as it can be, it requires to repack the entire campaign, upgrade every worldwide download mirror, redistribute it to everyone and break the compatibility with the 1.1 version and servers. It's not as easy as it seems.

However, this is a big bug. If I were you, I would repair it as fast as posible, because if not, if you launch ihatemountains 1.2 and al the servers are running 1.1 then yes it will be a chaos, much Chaos than if you release as soon as posible.
Another thing I have to say is, in all the playtest's you've done (and I know you made a lot of them), didn't you realise about this bug? It happens a lot of times...

Yes, but you are not us and we don't think this is a good idea. This is indeed a game-breaker but as long as you know about it, you can avoid it. It's not like the game was crashing of anything. Releasing a new version now would split the player base and the number of dedicated servers available in two. This would be like shooting ourselves in the foot.

This is an unpredictable side-effect of something we fixed at the last moment. We never thought the game engine would react wrongly and spawn another issue in place of the first one. We just didn't had enough time to fix it.

Yeah, this has happened to me 3 out of 4 times trying to play this campaign.
2 of those times were single player, effectively ending the game right there.
I was thinking this campaign was going to be pretty much the coolest L4D thing I've seen yet, but when this REPEATEDLY happened, my opinion on this campaign was seriously affected. Its very difficult for me to avoid the debris when theres tons of zombies running all over the place.
I have to say, I'm pretty surprised this wasn't noticed during development, considering this happened 3 out of 4 playthroughs to me.

Last time I played this map, all 4 of us got stuck on the debris, and I was laughing the hardest I have at L4D in a long time. Bill was in this weird stance, basically a combination of ledge-grab and shotgun shooting, with him shooting his shotgun while holding it above his head. I just wish I recorded it.
So, thanks for the laugh.
