No rush but is there any official release date set? Just curious. Campaign looks amazing by the way

Fair enough, good luck on the release I'm looking forward to it

I've been watching your progress from the start and now i will wait patiently for its release.
Excellent work and well done!

Well, we didn't knew about it last tonight.
I'm pretty sure we'll know about it tonight though!
It should be Friday in fact, but we keep pushing the limits forward and I don't know if we're gonna make it. So I just can't confirm.

I think it's very professional that you're team hasn't committed to a release date you're not sure you can promise. It would be impossible to count the times game Fans see exactly thedisappointing opposite...
As many are beginning to regard what they've seen of I Hate Mountains as the real spiritual successor to L4D, I think most of us are happy to wait and are fine with 'when it's ready'.

Heh. The Black Mesa team just get yelled at all the time for not setting a release date. I do agree with you though.

...like with the Valve Time?
Actually, there were a couple of semi-bold statements(represented by the "aaalmost done" in the trailer, at which I laughed hard BTW ):
May 27, 2009: Flat period...
We don't have any release date for the moment(...)But this will definitely be somewhere this summer (most likely july).
Nov 2, 2009: Advertising and notifying
our maps are finished
Dec 24, 2009: Clarification, campaign overview, screenshots and merry Christmas!
Basically, it's finished.
Mar 4, 2010: The light at the end of the tunnel
The work is nearly over (I know we're always saying that)(...)Unfortunately, we still can't give any release date yet
May 18, 2010: It's gonna be legen— wait for it —dary!
yes the campaign is finished.

What he said. I'm sure the campaign will bring some life back to the original Left 4 Dead, so it's worth waiting for it. "Crash Course"? Sorry, but from what I've seen so far, I Hate Mountains is going to be much bigger and way better than the official DLC; sorry, Valve.
Actually it's good you guys make us wait, working on the quality of the campaign, so that when it's released, it's done right. Plus, on the way here you probably had hundreds of reasons to give up on it, but you didn't. Also, being a fan of your previous creation, Portal: Prelude, there's no way I could lose interest, I'm not going anywhere.

That quote collection is awesome, but also very true. The campaign has always been finished since late November. We wasted 6 months fixing bugs, working around engine issues, tweaking gameplay and adapting it for versus.

Can't wait for this Excellent work guys!
(Old Prelude fan here btw)

And to think I just bought Left 4 Dead 2 yesterday. Looks like I'll be still playing the first for quiet some time!
